Excluding Specific Reviewers from the Evaluation Process
The author may identify reviewers to whom they request their study not be sent, based on a conflict of interest or ethical grounds. Additionally, the editor does not send evaluations to reviewers in the following positions:
- Reviewers with whom the author(s) have previously published a joint study,
- Reviewers who have assisted in the preliminary readings of the author’s/authors’ studies,
- Reviewers known to have had prior problems with the author(s),
- Reviewers who will gain financial benefit from the publication of the study,
- Reviewers working in the same institution as the author (in the same department at universities).
Right of Withdrawal
The author may withdraw their unpublished studies while they are still in the evaluation process.
Right of Appeal
The author may always appeal reviewer reports and editorial decisions. Appeals must be justified; the editor may initiate a new process if deemed necessary.
Disposal of Published Work
The copyright of published articles and reviews belongs to the journal Cedid. However, the author may submit requests regarding the use of their studies to the journal editor.
The Cedid editorial provides feedback on requests received for academic use, reprinting of the article, etc.
Correction (Erratum)
Due to material errors occurring during the editorial or printing process, the author may request a correction for problematic parts in their work or for information errors caused by themselves, to be published in the first upcoming issue.
