Cedid is published under the open access model. Within this framework the journal charges no fees to authors, and no subscription or access fee is charged to readers.

Fees Not Charged to Authors

No fee whatsoever is charged to authors for the following processes:

• Submission fee
• Review fee
• Article processing charge (APC)
• Publication fee
• DOI assignment fee
• Layout and language editing
• Permanent access in the journal archive

Royalty Payments to Authors

No royalty payment is made to authors for works published in the journal. Authors continue to retain the copyright of their works and to make them available to readers under the CC BY 4.0 licence.

Funding and Sponsorship

The journal’s publication processes are met by the journal itself. The journal is closed to advertising, sponsorship and commercial relationships involving gifts or promotional content. Editorial decisions are taken independently of financial resources, the publisher and external institutions.
