Open Access Policy

Cedid has adopted the open access model since its establishment. All content published in the journal is immediately and permanently accessible without any charge to either authors or readers.

Definition of Open Access

The journal’s open access policy is consistent with the definitions of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and the Berlin Declaration on Open Access. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute and search the full text of articles published in the journal, or link to them, without any restriction.

Reuse Rights (CC BY 4.0)

All works published in the journal are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Provided that appropriate credit is given to the original work, this licence permits the work to be shared, copied, reproduced, adapted and built upon in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes.

The full text of the licence is available at: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright of their published works. The copyright statement and author declarations are completed through the “Copyright, Licence and Submission Declaration” section of the Title Page document at the time of submission. For details, see the Copyright page.

Self-Archiving (Green Open Access)

Authors may share the peer-reviewed final draft (postprint) and the final published version (Version of Record) without any restriction on personal websites, in institutional repositories and in disciplinary repositories (SSRN, academia.edu, ResearchGate, ORCID, etc.).

Important. Works that have been shared on preprint servers or on any open platform prior to submission cannot be submitted to the journal. At the time of submission the work must be unpublished and not publicly disclosed.

Archiving

To ensure the long-term preservation of journal content, a DOI is assigned to every published article and permanent access is provided through the journal’s archiving infrastructure. For details, see the Archiving Policy.
