The copyright policy for works published in Cedid is built on the principles of protecting the rights of the author, ensuring the circulation of the work through open access, and guaranteeing the requirement of attribution.

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright of the works they publish in the journal. The permissions required for publication are arranged through the “Copyright, Licence and Submission Declaration” section of the Title Page document at the time of submission; no separate copyright transfer form is requested.

All published works are made available to readers under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Provided that appropriate credit is given to the original work, this licence permits the work to be shared, copied, reproduced, adapted and built upon in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes.

Author Declarations

In the “Copyright, Licence and Submission Declaration” section of the Title Page document, each author explicitly signs the following declarations:

• Originality: The work is the original work of the author(s); it contains no plagiarism and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• No simultaneous submission: The work has not been published elsewhere previously and has not been submitted simultaneously to another journal.
• Contribution and approval of all authors: All authors have made a substantial contribution to the work, have seen and approved its final version, and accept public responsibility for it.
• Acceptance of liability: In any legal action brought by third parties on grounds of copyright infringement, liability rests with the author(s); neither the journal nor the publisher bears any responsibility.

Third-Party Content

Authors are obliged to obtain the necessary permissions, prior to the submission stage, for images, tables, figures, extended quotations and similar content belonging to others that they use in their work. Copyright liability for third-party content rests exclusively with the author(s).

Attribution Requirement

Under the CC BY 4.0 licence, in the event that a work published in the journal is reused, the author’s name, article title, journal name, volume or issue information, page range and DOI must be stated fully and accurately.

Important. The copyright declaration is signed by the author(s) through section 5 of the Title Page document completed at the time of submission. No separate copyright transfer form is requested.
